Day,
I highly recommend getting a JXD engine if you can. They are used in many other vehicles plus farm machinery and even old searchlights. I put a 1935 JXD into my 1935 211AD Diamond T to replace the bad JXA. They are interchangeable but the later JXD replaced the gear drive generator with a belt drive generator. Today I posted a wanted ad on this website for two parts that I need. Front shocks are not on this 1935 211AD truck. They were apparently an option. There are mounting points for the shocks on the truck so all I need is someone with a parts truck with shocks. I want these because the couple times I drove it the ride was worse than stiff.

I started to compile this parts list while restoring a 1948 Model 201 Diamond T. I am indebted to Tom Warren Sr. and Jr. of Amarillo, Texas and Mike McQueen of Phoenix, Arizona for their help. Most of... »
In my younger days, I restored a 1952 International L110 and a 1944 Dodge pickup. I then sold the trucks and went to university. I gave no further thought to restoring old pickups until two years ago.... »
