My Dad worked for D-T in Chicago

My Dad worked for D-T in Chicago in the late 30’s and was transferred to Kansas City, MO. in 1937. We went back to Chicago in 1946 and he retired there from the factory in 1956 as I remember. Some of my best memories were sitting on his lap steering the Diamond T pickup truck he used on weekends in Kansas City at the dealership sometime around 1941. He worked at the Dealership as parts manager for a man I think was named C.T. Rowen. Looking at the pictures of all the restored trucks on the site reminded me of my child hood and the old Diamond T. I don’t remember the year of the pickup he was using on weekends because that was a long time ago. I do remember that he had the highest gas stamp you could get (For Rationing) during the war and we always went out as a family on weekends with the truck. Your site brought back memories again!! I’ll dig around and see if I have any pictures of that era. Thanks again Jim Mick
