I’m restoring a 1927 model 27D that was a wrecker. The entire cab was painted red and I was wondering since there is some beautiful wood under that paint just what is the correct finish on this? Paint or varnish? I personally would love to finish the wood in a high varnish but I do want it to be correct as if it just left the factory.
