Diamond T fire truck returns to Alcatraz Island

The Diamond T fire truck, purchased in 1934 by the Bureau of Prisons for the United States Penitentiary Alcatraz, has been returned to the island, fully restored (and operational) on September 23 2003.It was removed from the island in 1963, but was recently restored by inmates of a state prison in Nevada.
