Hello Fred,
I find it a bit more difficult than the old site. I find it hard to keep track of posts and follow threads. Anyways, I haven’t tried it out, but on the top left corner area of the screen is a green dot and a chat option. I wonder if that is working yet?

If you’re talking to this Bill, I got your poke…. whatever that is?!? But I’m a day late and a dollar short. Maybe we could pick a chat time like the old site and see if anyone shows up. What about something like that? I guess if you place your cursor over the chat button, it tells you if anyone is on line… but do they all have to be friends, I wonder?

Looks like I missed another Chat Night! Must say, I usually have my toes pointed at the bedroom ceiling with a good book in my hands around that time, out here in Ontario. I’ll try and get with the program on Saturday night! It sure would be nice to get a few more on board if just to introduce, or re-introduce ourselves to each other.

Good morning Diamond T Classics!
Well, another chat night has come and gone. Had a great old chat with Don last evening, finally made it to the chat line myself. We were kind of wondering why we were the only two joining in. It’s been pretty quite around here for the last little while, and being the middle of August, I guess that is understandable.
In regards to the actual chat format, I wonder if we could modify it so that when someone is typing a response, a small icon or such could be displayed to indicate that a response is being composed? A small animated writing pencil in the message area would allow members to wait for a response knowing that one is being composed. That would eliminate out of sequence responses, and keep the flow going in an orderly fashion giving the members the opportunity to enter their responses at the appropriate time. What do you think Sascha? is that something we could do?
